Films

One of the aims of this site was to encourage more young Punjabis & non-Punjabi cinephiles to engage with the Punjabi language & film. Aside from music, TV & film is the best way to immerse yourself with Punjabi and Punjabi culture/history. Accordingly, I’ve picked 6 films to this end, some older classics as well as some more contemporary & art house style films. 

I’ve tried to only include ones that are readily accessible (on major streaming platforms) and with English subtitles
